As someone who has their name mispronounced often, and had to start telling folks her first name was spelled "Lora" because … North Jersey girl living in Philly … Laura understands the importance of getting it right the first time .

From spring of 2021 until the fall of 2024, Laura joined the esteemed team of voice professionals with MarchingOrder as a “Name Reader”, voicing for hundreds of commencement ceremonies, hundreds of thousands of names, all across the globe. She really valued her time spent working with this team, greatly appreciating the work they do to honor these hard-working graduates.

Since singing for her own commencement in the spring of 2009, Laura remains proud to continue lending her vocal skills to several departments of her Alma Mater (Seton Hall University, NJ - Go Pirates!) as their commencement singer. Laura deeply values the relationships she’s built with her faculty (now) friends and treasures the trust they put in her to begin and end their ceremonies with her voice.
